Soundwalking is a creative and research practice that involves listening and sometimes recording while moving through a place at a walking pace. It is concerned with the relationship between soundwalkers and their surrounding sonic environment. Walking as the principle of coordination between mind and movement and the primary activity in the exploration of a particular space. A sound walk employs walking as an “instrument” for listening and sensibilization to fully experience the landscape while simultaneously perceiving its changes.
